Electrical Team Leader – Renewable Energy Specialist
Skills & Abilities
* Proven leadership on residential and commercial electrical projects
* Advanced installation skills in Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging systems
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical compliance requirements
* Confident reading system schematics, SLDs and technical documentation
* High-level troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
* Competent with digital job management, site reporting and compliance documentation
* Professional client communication and on-site presentation
* Ability to mentor apprentices and trades assistants effectively
Experience
* Qualified Electrician with QLD A-Grade Electrical License
* Current SAA Accreditation (Design & Install - Solar & Batteries)
* Demonstrated experience installing battery systems including Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, SigEnergy, Fronius and Goodwe
* Experience leading or supervising small installation teams
* Hands-on delivery of high-end residential and commercial renewable energy projects
* Strong safety record with Working at Heights and Blue/White Card
* Manual driver's license and experience operating fully equipped trade vehicles
* Proficient in electrical installations, wiring, and maintenance
* Familiar with reading blueprints and technical diagrams
* Competent in using hand and power tools safely and effectivelyCompleted 2 – 3 years of apprenticeship
* Assisted journeyman electricians in residential and commercial projects
* Ongoing training in workplace safety and electrical codes
* Expertise in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
* Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Advanced knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
* At least 1 year of experience as a qualified electrician
* Demonstrated success in residential, commercial, and industrial projects
* Continued professional development through advanced training and certifications
