About the role
Beda Chartered Accountants is seeking a Senior Accountant / Manager to join our growing team in Gosford, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of clients and ensuring their financial obligation requirements are met to the highest standard. You will be working within a team of Accountants and assist in supporting other team members.
What you'll be doing
* Maintaining excellent client relationships through regular communication and proactive support
* Preparing and lodging tax returns, business activity statements, and other financial documents
* Advising clients on tax planning strategies and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Collaborating with the broader team to deliver integrated solutions to meet client needs
* Continuously developing your technical expertise and staying up to date with industry changes
What we're looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* 3+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
* Bachelor's Degree
* CA / CPA qualified or nearing completion
* Strong technical tax knowledge
* Experience with all entities including SMSFs
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Ability to be a team player
