Armidale Hospital is a 99-bed acute care facility serving Armidale and the surrounding communities, providing a wide range of healthcare services. We're looking for a
friendly, reliable, and organised Ward Clerk to join our Day Surgery Unit.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping the unit running smoothly, supporting both patients and staff with your excellent administrative skills and positive attitude.

You will work closely with nursing staff and other hospital departments to ensure smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Registering patients and managing accurate data entry
* Coordinating patient discharges
* Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
* Supporting nursing staff with administrative duties

* Able to work independently while collaborating with multiple hospital departments
* Friendly, approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* You will receive comprehensive training across a range of administrative functions, and you'll be fully supported by your Nurse Unit Manager and the wider administrative team to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your new role.
