About the Role
This a newly created position where you will support and assist the finance manager with daily, weekly and monthly task such as general bookkeeping, accounting, payable/receivables, monthly and quarterly tax statements. This is not a role where you will sit in a back office, you will be located in an open plan work environment and be expected to multitask in the customer service area.
Key Responsibilities
Complete daily sales and cash flow transaction reports
Maintain financial records and bank reconciliation
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
Work autonomously alongside the finance manager
Maintain accurate online accounting records
Support customer service functions
Skills and Qualifications
Be well organised and skilled with prioritising your workload
Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years bookkeeping experience
Have sound Microsoft office and online accounting systems experience
Have high attention to detail with 100% data entry accuracy
Be well versed with numerical calculations and number interpretation
Have the ability to find solutions or ask questions when needing support or guidance
Have an outgoing and supportive attitude
