Reporting into the Interlock Service Installation Manager, the new Auto Electric Technician will be based at our Notting Hill workshop in Victoria.
You will play a key role in the handling of Draeger Interlock devices and serving customers.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Installation of Draeger Interlock devices into vehicles; Demonstrate and train participants on the correct use of Draeger Interlock devices - Interlock Alcohol Program (**********************************************************> Conduct periodic servicing and repair of the devices; Provide excellent, personalised customer and technical service; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: A genuine passion in the field of auto electrics; Comfortable and willing to provide a great customer experience; Hands-on, technical aptitude and ability to handle electronic devices; Intermediate computer operation capability required for basic data downloads and processing; Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards; Can-do, positive attitude and willingness to learn, and; Excellent customer focus, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
