System Architect Role
We are seeking a highly experienced System Architect to drive the SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration across major business domains. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and integrated SAP landscapes with strong emphasis on external system connectivity, cost modeling, data orchestration, and end-to-end architecture governance.
About the Position
You will be responsible for designing and governing SAP S/4HANA solution architecture across public and private cloud environments. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing integration patterns between SAP and external systems using middleware such as Boomi and/or SAP BTP, guiding process modelling activities in SAP Signavio, and documenting and maintaining SAP-related architecture in LeanIX.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and govern SAP S/4HANA solution architecture across public and private cloud environments.
* Define and implement integration patterns between SAP and external systems using middleware such as Boomi and/or SAP BTP.
* Guide process modelling activities in SAP Signavio to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
* Document and maintain SAP-related architecture in LeanIX for enterprise visibility and governance.
* Provide architectural input across modules including Finance, Warehouse Management, Work Management, and project operations.
* Design and guide the integration of SAP with field service and operational platforms, including ServiceNow FSM and other external systems.
* Apply strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce solutions (including Payroll) to support business and technical outcomes.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise direction, standards, and data governance requirements.
* Provide architecture oversight across SAP implementation programs, ensuring decisions are strategic, scalable, and compliant.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
* Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
* Significant experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture (across both public and private cloud models).
* Demonstrated experience designing and delivering SAP integrations with external systems and platforms.
* Favorable understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce modules, including Payroll.
* Experience guiding process design using SAP Signavio as an architectural input mechanism.
* Proficiency in documenting enterprise architecture in LeanIX.
* Expertise in SAP architecture and integration strategy across hybrid environments.
* Hands-on experience with middleware and integration platforms, preferably Boomi and SAP BTP.
* Familiarity with SAP licensing, deployment models, and their implications for architecture.
* Experience in utilities, transport, or other infrastructure services involving O&M and project-based field operations is an asset.
