Mala’la have a physiotherapist position available based in Darwin. This role provides services to the community of Maningrida and the West Arnhem Communities. This position will require extensive travel for up to a week at a time either by 4WD or light aircraft.

What’s the role?
10. Provide timely, clinically and culturally appropriate community-based Physiotherapy services, which are responsive to referrals from local providers, and to support client needs.
11. In consultation with families, carers, guardians and health care providers, liaise closely with service providers and community networks to ensure effective and efficient outcomes for clients
12. Provide a clinical hand-over at the end of each community visit.
13. Provide sound professional advice critical in dealing with significant issues related to assessment, planning, review, evaluation and coordination of client care in the practice area of Physiotherapy.
Is this the right role for you?
14. Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
15. Current AHPRA registration
16. Current/eligibility for membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association
17. Relevant post-graduate experience in providing contemporary Physiotherapy services to clients and families
18. Demonstrated ability to work independently as a Physiotherapist and perform effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing a quality service within legislative, policy and ethical requirements
may be able to offer to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
