About The OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for coordination and management of the Operating Theatres, CSSD, stages 1 – 3 Recovery, and Pre-Admission clinic, ensuring strategic goals and outcomes of care are met and compliance with standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for the day-to-day management of human, financial and material resources within designated areas.

To be successful in this role, you will have…

* Well developed clinical, managerial and leadership skills within the Operating Theatre, CSSD, Recovery: stages 1 - 3, and Pre-Admission assessment.
* Well developed ability to manage human, material and environmental resources to achieve optimum patient care.
* Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written; interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability.
* Well-developed analytical skills and problem solving ability, and the ability to implement change in the workplace.
* Computer literacy and an ability to utilise information systems.
* Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
