Full-Time Accountant

MCPBB Pty Ltd is a growing manufacturing and services business seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time accountant who will be responsible for supporting the CFO with general accounting, strategic financial reporting and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
· Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
· Prepare job costing and expenditure tracking reports.
· Prepare periodic financial reports and analyse business performance regularly for presentation to the directors.
· Monitor organisational operating costs, income and expenditure, and provide recommendations to enhance cost control and financial performance.
· Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation and relevant regulatory frameworks.
· Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts, journals and subsidiary ledgers
· Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including implementation of effective debt collection procedures and monitoring of outstanding balances.
· Identify financial risks, investigate discrepancies, and provide timely advice and solutions to management on financial and operational issues
· Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as directed by the CFO
Skills & Qualifications
· Master's degree or above qualification in relevant field
· CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
· At least one-year relevant work experience
· Minimum one year experience with MYOB, Xero & Attache
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· High attention to detail, high level of accuracy and strong organisational skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with multilingual ability highly regarded
· Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Good communication skills
Base annual salary ranges from $80,000-$90,000 plus superannuation
