About the Role:
As the CNS Floor Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our perioperative services. This position involves coordinating patient flow, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining high standards of care across the perioperative floor. This role ensures patient safety is maintained through adherence to best clinical practices whilst promoting a positive departmental culture aligned with Healthe Care goals.
Essential Criteria:
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Minimum 5 years Perioperative nursing experience
* Strong leadership, communication, mentoring and organisation skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
* Perioperative knowledge including ACORN standards, ASNZ5369 and NSW Health Policy Directives
* Sound understanding of clinical governance as relevant to perioperative services and hospital management
* Computer literacy in relevant hospital programs
Desired Criteria:
* Previous experience in nursing leadership / management
* Previous experience relieving in Nursing Unit Manager roles
* Demonstrated experience in instrument/circulating nurse roles and or Anaesthetics and PACU nursing
* Previous experience in human resource management
