With continued growth and success across the business, they are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join their team. About the Role
Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for a range of accounts functions. Key duties will include:
- Processing sales and/or disposals and write offs
- Maintaining and minimising debtors ledger and weekly statements
- Maintaining accurate records associated with sales and receivables
- Monitoring and collecting rebates
- Preparing and processing of finance pay outs including interest and other charges
- Month end reconciliation - closing loan balances with lenders in accordance with accounting lease standards
- Year end - finalising all accounting entries and assist with Audits
- Assisting with contracts management
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a confident communicator with solid experience in the wider accounts and finance space. You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Confidence in following up outstanding accounts via phone/email
- Ability to investigate charge discrepancies and resolve disputes
- Strong Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills
- High attention to detail and initiative
- Degree qualified or working towards in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Previous administration or finance related experience is advantageous
- Experience working with different systems is highly desirable
- Basic accounting, credit and collection principles
