About The Opportunity
As the Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Analysis and Reporting function, driving insights, and ensuring robust financial and management reporting while working closely with project and cross‐functional teams. Reporting to the CFO, you will provide critical support in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational decision‐making. This role is based in our Perth office on a full-time basis. Career returners are encouraged to apply.
* Prepare and analyse monthly management reports to support decision‐making processes.
* Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
* Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on business KPI's and financial performance.
* Support month‐end and year‐end closing processes.
* Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
* Collaborate with project and cross‐functional teams to accurately capture and report on financial performance.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
* Assist in ad‐hoc financial projects as required.
About You
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Proven experience (7+ years) in a management accounting role within the oil and gas industry or Engineering/EPCM/Contractor environment.
* Experience using ERP systems with advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills (preferably Microsoft D365, PowerBI)
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* High level of attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Ability to work effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, and ability to work in cross‐functional teams.
* Be able to demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills and high personal motivation.
