Associate Professor in Nursing and Midwifery
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of nursing and midwifery education and research in Northern Australia and beyond.
* Provide leadership in learning and teaching, research, and professional engagement.
* Design and deliver innovative curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including online and blended learning.
* Mentor academic staff and supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students.
* Conduct high-impact research, publish in quality journals, and secure research funding.
* Build strong partnerships with industry, health services, and the wider community.
* A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline and eligibility for registration as a nurse and/or midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Proven leadership and management experience in academic or clinical settings.
* Demonstrated success in curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies.
* Strong research track record, including publications and grant success.
* Experience mentoring colleagues and supervising research students.
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
