**Your new role**
As a **Communications Account Manager**, you will be responsible for leading a small team of communication professionals and developing and implementing effective communication strategies and plans for the Scheme. You will work closely with your Director and other business areas to understand their communication needs and deliver high-quality communication products and services. You will also manage communication resources, budgets, and contracts, and monitor and report on the outcomes of communication initiatives. You will be the main point of contact for media enquiries regarding the Scheme and ensure that the Scheme's messages are consistent and aligned with its objectives and values.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write, edit, and proofread various types of communication materials for different audiences and channels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and anticipate and respond to their communication needs and expectations.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and evaluate communication options and solutions, and make informed decisions based on sound judgement, expertise, and knowledge.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritise tasks, and deliver results within budget and timeframes.
- A high level of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment, and support others in your team.
- A relevant degree or diploma in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing, or equivalent experience in the field of strategic communication, marketing, or advertising in the government or private sector.
