Chapter lead - everyday business banking product management (sydney)

Business Bank (BB) offers a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers.

Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers' needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Deposit and Transaction Product, and Portfolio Management, Commercial Cards, Cash Channel Strategy, Payment Solutions, Business Customer Onboarding, Customer lifecycle Management, and Business Customer Propositions.

The Commercial Cards Squad, within the Deposits and Transactions Crew, is accountable for the product lifecycle, development, and management of the CommBank Commercial Card product offering. The squad works directly with our distribution teams across the Business Bank to support our bankers and deliver on customer outcomes.

You are an experienced Senior Product Manager who is passionate about people leadership. You will balance priorities by delivering on our key objectives, whilst leading a team of experienced Product Managers. You will be responsible for driving people engagement, capability uplift, and talent strategy across the Crew.

You will leverage your domain and industry knowledge, thought leadership, and strategic mindset to drive outcomes across the product lifecycle including launching recent features and initiatives, monitoring and driving product performance, meeting key regulatory, operational risk and product governance requirements, optimising customer experience, and driving change across the business.

• Ideally you will have Cards or Payments Product P&L experience.
• You are an experienced Product Manager with 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Demonstrated People Leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and technical experience within product lifecycle management.

• Excellent communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
• Appropriate university qualification; degree or masters.
• Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and ability to work flexibly through change.
