Who could you be at GHD?
Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. Alongside your peers, managers and mentors, we'll help you detangle any challenges along the way. Our Rail team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that keep trains moving and infrastructure resilient.
Your focus in this role will be supporting and working alongside the team delivering a variety of projects across the transport industry.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety work and will see you involved in:
* Supporting the team to deliver major rail projects, and making a valued contribution to these projects.
* Designing and optimising track structures and alignments that power safe, efficient, and high-performance rail networks.
* Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and contribution of technical reports, designs & specifications, proposals and presentations.
* Tackle complex challenges in special trackwork and transit space design, ensuring every curve, turnout, and crossover meets exactlying standards.

Along the way, you'll get a broad look at many career pathways avail at GHD—because no future should come with split endings. You'll have the chance to work in design teams to help deliver exciting projects, contribute to bids and tenders, and even get hands on with occasional site work. In your first year, we'll focus on fundamentals of consulting to help you find rhythm in industry.
By year two, you'll have the flexibility to style development, whether that's diving deeper into your technical development or soaking up wisdom from mentors.
