Personal Care Worker (Community-Based In-Home Care)

About the role: We are currently seeking motivated Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Warrnambool area on a Permanent Part Time /Casual basis. The ideal candidates will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours preferably Monday Friday 8am 3:30pm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist clients at home with personal care tasks like showering grooming toileting meal preparation and household chores.
* Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping appointments and community activities.
* Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
* Maintain client privacy and dignity and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
* Report consumer risks to management including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
* Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
* Able to Travel around Warrnambool
* Completed Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or above.
* Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
* Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
* Current Australian Drivers license and own a registered vehicle with insurance.
