This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
We currently have a fixed term (6 Months) position available with potential for extension and permanency. This available as a Part Time or Full time position (0.4 FTE up to 1.0 FTE).

* The senior clinical psychologist leads the team providing psychological wellbeing support for all employees at CAHS, which includes clinical psychologists and pastoral carers.
* Work days are Monday – Friday with some flexibility in working hours (including school hours).

Position Profile
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Work Health, Safety, and Wellbeing team at CAHS and support the mental health and wellbeing of staff across our organisation, including Perth Children's Hospital and community sites.
In this senior role, you will lead a team of practitioners in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed psychological services to CAHS staff. This includes brief interventions, risk assessments, training, and consultation. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster resilience, professional excellence, and a culture of care that recognises staff wellbeing as fundamental to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
In parallel, you will partner with Safety, Injury Management, Occupational Physicians, and external providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and support for staff when they need it most.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Lead the delivery of employee wellbeing services, including psychological triage, risk assessments, short-term interventions, and referrals.
* Contribute to strategic planning and the continuous improvement of staff wellbeing initiatives.
* Support individuals and teams following workplace stressors, critical incidents, or exposure to trauma.
* Deliver training, reflective supervision, and wellbeing-focused education sessions.
* Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and development of Clinical Psychologists.
* Work collaboratively with Safety, Injury Management, Occupational Physicians, and external providers to ensure coordinated care.
* Provide high-level advice to CAHS leadership on wellbeing strategy, policies, and emerging psychosocial risks.
* Actively contributing to research and evaluation of psychological programs and promote health and wellness initiatives for a healthy workforce.

We welcome applicants with senior-level experience in psychological assessment, short-term therapeutic interventions, and trauma-informed care. Experience in staff wellbeing, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), or workplace mental health is desirable. Previous health sector experience is not required.
* This role requires a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and eligibility for full registration and endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia
