Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ECC Veterinarian seeking apredominately clinical role with some managerial dutiesincluding overseeing and ensuring clinical excellence of the ECC department.About the role:As anECC Clinical Director at Baulkham Hillsyou will play an integral part of the growth of the hospital. This is apredominantly clinical role with some admin/management responsibilities, and your time will be spent:Working as an ECC Veterinarian across a mixture of shifts- days, evenings, overnights and weekends, with a roster defined in collaboration with the Business manager with your work-life-balance in mind. Establishing best practice processes for the department. Communicating the vision of the hospital and key department updates to your team to promote a positive work environment. Ensuring the department meets financial targets to sustain growth. Working with the business manager and other department heads to develop growth strategies. Supporting your team by providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to identify their areas of current success and areas for their future professional growth. Becoming a first air officer with the appropriate training, as deemed by management.QualificationsSkills & experience required:You must hold aveterinary degreeavailable for registration in New South Wales. Minimum of5+ years working in a 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospital. A demonstrated ability to successfullylead teams. Strategic thinkingto refine and grow the service. Management training(formal or informal through CPD) would be advantageous. Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
