Volunteer Role
As a retail volunteer you will play a central role in the operations of the shop, making a significant and valuable contribution to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
Responsibilities
* Providing customers with an excellent shopping experience
* Sorting and pricing donations
* Assisting with product display
* Processing sales through the Point of Sale (POS) cash register
* Keeping the store and sorting area tidy while maintaining safe work practices
Desired Qualities
* Be a people person who is welcoming, encouraging and positive
* Be willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society
* Be respectful of others and flexible in attitude towards work and the team
* Have good time management and use initiative to get the job done
