As a Mental Health Enrolled Nurse (MHEN), you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centred care that supports individuals on their journey to recovery. Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate, person-centred mental health care in collaboration with Registered Nurses and a multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver education, counselling and group work to promote wellbeing and independence.
* Contribute to safe, respectful and empowering support aligned with SA Health values and national standards.
* Maintain accountability for your practice while developing skills from novice to proficient levels.
About You
You're a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Mental Health Nurse who brings clinical skill, professionalism and a genuine commitment to supporting consumer recovery and wellbeing. You thrive in a team environment and take pride in delivering person-centred care that reflects SA Health's values.
* Qualified and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate
* Skilled and capable in mental health nursing practice, including assessment, care planning, and therapeutic interventions
* Collaborative and compassionate—able to work effectively with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledgeable and reflective, with understanding of recovery frameworks, professional standards, and mental health policies
