Currently, gforce has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our Group Training team as an Apprentice Consultant based from our Geelong head office, this important role will help support the next generation of Australian Apprentices.

About Our Role
Reporting to the Apprenticeship Services Manager, this varied role will see you out in the community, calling upon various host employers undertaking business development, account management and mentoring Australian Apprentices.

As an Apprentice Consultant, you’ll be responsible for creating employment opportunities while providing guidance, mentoring, and ongoing support to your Australian Apprentices and their host employers. Your days will be varied, you might start by meeting a business administration trainee in a corporate office, then head to a construction site to check in on a construction apprentice, and finish the day representing gforce at a high school career expo.

You will be scouting new clients, evolving the relationships with existing clients, and developing a pipeline of suitable candidates that can be reverse marketed to host employers.

You’ll respond to Australian Apprentice queries, provide quotes and proposals to host employers and liaise with registered training organisations.

About the Successful Candidate
Given the nature of this role, to be successful, you must have the ability to communicate effectively across a range of personality types and age groups, enjoying establishing and building connections through community events and meetings. You’ll be passionate about supporting Australian Apprentices complete their chosen qualification.

You will have a background in mentoring and/or coaching, ideally with youth, and as this is a relationship management role, you will have proven experience in developing report easily and being able to foster mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with clients/host employers.

You’ll enjoy the chase in promoting and securing Australian Apprenticeships commencement opportunities, along with the variety that this role provides.

As you will also be conducting workplace visits, you will have a good understanding of workplace health and safety, ensuring that our Australian Apprentices are working safely and that our Host Employers are providing a safe place of work.

Having an understanding of and ability to manage training contracts and vocational education requirements is advantageous.
