About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant with a forklift licence to support our workshop team in Edwardstown.
This role is varied. About 20% of your time will be spent operating the forklift — loading and unloading deliveries, moving materials, and keeping recycling and waste organised. The other 80% is trade assistant work — helping tradespeople with workshop tasks, loading and running machines, preparing materials and keeping things running smoothly.
What You Will Work With
* Forklift operations — loading/unloading deliveries, moving materials safely
* Recycling and waste management
* Assisting tradespeople with workshop tasks, welding and machine operations
* Cutting materials, workshop prep, and general support duties
* A modern CNC workshop environment with advanced technology
About You
* Forklift licence (LF)
* Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment
* Safety-minded and reliable with a practical approach to work
* Hands-on, willing to pitch in and help wherever needed
* Positive attitude, good communication and a team player
