Overview
GYG is hiring Sales and Food Preparation crew. The role involves delivering pleasant and prompt service and preparing menu items according to the procedures and processes outlined by GYG. Crew members should maintain a complete knowledge of GYG menu items, ingredients and procedures to proactively and promptly deliver high-quality Mexican products.
Responsibilities
* Provide friendly, efficient service to customers
* Prepare menu items according to GYG procedures
* Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and procedures
* Proactively deliver high-quality Mexican products and assist teammates as needed
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have / Be
* Advanced English skills (if non-native)
* RSA certificate
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer skills and capability of learning POS and EFTPOS operation
* General understanding of Australian currency, payment methods and loyalty cards
* Outgoing and approachable personality
* Patience and eagerness to help customers
* Capability of maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workstation
* Willingness to learn and a proactive, enthusiastic personality
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Self-motivated and "always moving" attitude
Previous experience in customer service or food preparation is preferred but not essential. Having the right attitude is the key
