The Clinical Nurse Educator – Transition to Emergency Nursing is accountable for applying nursing expertise and contemporary teaching and learning practice to implement education programs for nurses that align with the strategic priorities of Hospitals North/North West, respond to emerging clinical need, and facilitates professional development for the nursing workforce.
Responsibilities

* As a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Close Observation Unit, MCH, you will play a pivotal role in clinical excellence, leading innovative education and professional development that empower nurses and midwives to deliver safe, compassionate, patient‐centred care to all patients.

Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, from as soon as we can onboard you. Hours are to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.

Eligibility – Essential Criteria
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Eligibility – Desirable Credentials
* Holds, or currently working towards, postgraduate qualifications in education and/or clinical teaching and learning.
* Holds, or currently working towards, postgraduate qualifications in the area of clinical/practice specialty relevant to the position.
