About us:
Central Queensland Health's Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. The Division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and wellbeing, and engagement of our most important asset – “Our People”.
The Workforce Division unit comprises approximately 40 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
About the role:
The Senior Learning and Organisational Development Advisor provides operational leadership to the Learning and Organisational Development Team, guiding and empowering the team to deliver key organisational development initiatives that strengthen sustainability, capability, performance, leadership, and culture across Central Queensland Health.
In this leadership role, the Senior Advisor manages the design, development and delivery of non‑clinical, human resource, professional, personal and organisational development programs, ensuring the team's work is aligned with organisational priorities and delivered to a high standard across the health service.
With a focus on innovation and the continual enhancement of organisational development offerings, the Senior Advisor provides clear direction, coaching and support to the team. They ensure contemporary, adult learning and development practices are embedded, and that programs are delivered through diverse and accessible modes to enable all employees to participate fully.
About you:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Education, Adult Learning or Training would be well regarded. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing team, providing clear direction, coaching and support to ensure the effective delivery of organisational development, capability and culture initiatives across a complex health service environment. Proven experience in managing team performance, resources and workflows to achieve project and initiatives within agreed timeframes, while fostering a collaborative, inclusive and accountable team culture that supports innovation, continuous improvement and high‑quality service delivery. Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, review and evaluate the effectiveness of organisational development and learning activities. Demonstrated experience in facilitating group processes and sessions, developing and delivering human resource, professional and personal capability development programs across various mediums, including traditional classroom delivery, videoconferencing, distance, and e-learning.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $152,772 p.a. is comprised of:
