About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our team in Wollongong, working under the Project Controls Manager.
* Assess project scope and develop detailed schedules with subject matter experts.
* Create package-wise schedules following PPM standards and processes, using best practice methodology and software.
* Develop and manage the overall project master schedule, considering project execution strategy, critical path identification, and weekly progress meetings.
* Prepare progress and performance reports.
* Manage project schedules and provide technical expertise in planning and scheduling activities.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Significant recent experience in planning, preferably in heavy industry or mining.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Project and PrimaveraP6.
* Knowledge and expertise in planning practices and standards.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and take direction.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
Requirements include Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or Project Management, with a solid background in scheduling projects using PrimaVera. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are also essential for this fast-paced role critical to our business success.
