Your Role:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Product Development Coordinator ANZ, with a keen eye for data input, product development and support. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager ANZ, you will work within a dynamic, fast paced and collaborative environment, balancing creativity with practical execution to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Your ability to pay attention to detail, co-ordinate samples, manipulate data in excel and support our brand team will be pivotal in this role. You will succeed if you are proactive, adaptable, and always eager to learn and gradually build a career to one day become a brand manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Brand Team in maintaining data accuracy for existing & new SKU/product creation through systems such as ASANA/SAP/EXCEL
* Assist Brand Team in maintaining dimensional data on new and existing product as well conducting QC checks on product
* Collate samples and co-ordinate shipping of product to customers, trade shows and vendors
* Assist Brand Team in building presentations/maintaining of showroom to provide compelling selling stories to customers
* Collate notes/action items for customer/internal meetings
* Assist Brand Team in developing of new and exciting fishing product including sample reviews, design workshops, packaging and copy + bullets to bring product to market. There is also the opportunity to field test product occasionally on team fishing days
* Manage product set-up in SAP using local and global resources before handing over to supply chain
* Assist with on site customer meetings including food/supplies + assist with on water experience days where required
* Assist Brand Team in achieving delivery timelines on new product launches
* Assist with evaluating and managing the range architecture and pricing strategies alongside Brand Manager

About You:
* High School Education/Diploma/Degree: Formal education in product development type role or similar. HSC Certificate minimum.
* Industry experience: familiarity with the fishing, sporting goods, outdoor/leisure or FMCG categories
* Excel/SAP programs: comfortable using Microsoft Excel/some understanding of SAP type programs
* Strong communicator: maintain an organised inbox and calendar and be responsive to a variety of stakeholders internally as well as external ambassadors and retailers, including while travelling.
* Attention to detail: accuracy in product details, cost management and adherence to brand guidelines.
* Autonomous: Self-starting, with bucket loads of initiative to show us what you’ve got!
Desirable Skills:
* Microsoft Excel/SAP/ASANA: experience in using Microsoft Excel, SAP or similar ERP system and/or experience with ASANA or a similar project management system
