Responsibilities
Carry out rail survey tasks including RST (Rail Survey Technician) with accuracy and in line with project requirements.
Operate and maintain survey instruments and data collection equipment to a high standard.
Work closely Surveyors to deliver accurate data.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, site procedures, and client specifications.
Assist in reporting and preparation of survey documentation.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy in field operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in surveying (RST experience highly regarded).
Competence in the use of survey instruments (e.g. total stations, GNSS, data loggers).
Strong understanding of Survey procedures and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in remote FIFO locations and as part of a team.
Current, white card, and driver’s licence.
