What is the role
Part-time, three days a week, onsite at our Newcastle office. This is a contract role - 12 months parental leave cover.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will provide sales support to the sales team including procurement, processing renewals and quote preparation. This role is also responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services across finance, sales support, and general office functions.
The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:
· Provide administrative and sales support to the sales team
· Manage product quoting, ordering, receipting, and delivery
· Coordinate small contract and license renewals
· Maintain ConnectWise for tracking agreements, licenses, and sales activity
· Monitor and manage internal stock levels and stock movements
· Assist with warranty claims and supplier communications
· Support proposal, presentation, and tender preparation
· Organize sales events, campaigns, and mail outs
· Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and backorders
· Maintain positive supplier relationships and escalate pricing/timing issues as needed
· Conduct stock takes and stays updated on the latest technologies
· Greet visitors and manage calls, office access, and supplies
· Coordinate freight, stock, and vehicle logistics
· Support HR tasks, travel bookings, and event planning
· Oversee property maintenance and admin processes
· Perform general office administration as needed
Who we are looking for
Candidates must possess a strong grasp of sales workflows and technical capabilities, as well as:
At least 2 years of sales administration experience
Experience working in an MSP environment
Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure
Vendor Sales Certificates are a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Able to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organization and maintain strong relationships
Self-motivated and able to work independently
High attention to detail
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
