What you'll be doing
The Midwife Manager – Maternity Models of Care will work in partnership with the Maternity & Paediatric Manager and Women's Health & Maternity Medical Co-Lead for a 12 month Project to evaluate of MNCLHD Maternity Models of care with the key priority to increase access of continuity of care.
This role drives equity, quality, cultural safety and access for all pregnant women, people, and families—ensuring the right care, at the right time, from the right provider throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
The role demonstrates strong, deeply kind, compassionate leadership, and works collaboratively with clinical, cultural, medical, and executive partners to implement evidence-based, sustainable models of care that meet community needs and NSW Health maternity service expectations.
This position is located within Mid North Coast LHD.
About you
Do you hold a full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with post graduate Health qualifications or equivalent work experience or combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by MNCLHD for this dedicated position and demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams, implementing service improvements, and partnering with medical, midwifery, Aboriginal health and community stakeholders.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
