About the HR Officer
Based in Warrnambool, the HR Officer plays a key role in supporting Southern Stay's workforce and ensuring that our HR processes reflect our values and compliance obligations. This full-time position (part-time applications considered) contributes to the delivery of HR services across the organisation, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, performance management, and learning and development.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will assist with HR generalist activities, support managers and staff, and help maintain a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture. Your work ensures that our teams are equipped, engaged, and empowered to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.
About the Successful Candidate… YouYou are a motivated, values-driven HR professional with experience in HR administration and recruitment. You have strong knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards (SCHADS preferred), and HR policies and practices, ideally within the not-for-profit or community services sector.
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities confidentially. You thrive collaboratively, support managers and staff with practical guidance, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture while promoting engagement and professional growth.
