Postgraduate Psychology Lecturer Opportunity
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and experienced Postgraduate Psychology Lecturer, seeking to contribute to the development of our postgraduate programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in clinical psychology, teaching and curriculum development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing curriculum, coordinating subjects and delivering high-quality teaching to postgraduate students;
* Assessing student learning, providing academic support and managing administrative responsibilities effectively;
* Engaging in scholarly activity relevant to the advancement of learning and teaching in postgraduate psychology or related areas;
* Supervising students undertaking professional training and research.
Essential Criteria
* PhD or Masters degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area;
* Professional qualification and experience including full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA, approved or eligibility for approval as a supervising psychologist at the higher degree program level by PsyBA and endorsement as a specialist in a relevant sub-discipline with PBA is not required but would be advantageous;
* Demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching and curriculum development in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes, evidenced by high results on student feedback surveys relative to peers or through other forms of evidence;
* Demonstrated ability to engage with and produce outputs related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning or program improvement more generally.
