About a Business Development Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to play a key role in supporting the growth and expansion of operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions tailored to their needs. A key part of the role is developing and sourcing opportunities for projects across Queensland.
* Build and establish a portfolio of new clients while growing relationships with existing ones.
* Identify and pursue new opportunities.
* Engage face-to-face with clients to understand their business needs and operational requirements.
* Work closely with the internal team to align labour availability with upcoming project demands.
* Maintain a strong understanding of industry changes and competitor activity.
* Provide exceptional customer service and relationship management.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the coal mining industry.
* General understanding of CHPP operations.
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or recruitment.
* Track record of acquiring and retaining clients.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong work ethic and results-driven mindset.
* Ability to travel regionally as required.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
