Are You Ready to Design Melbourne’s Most Exceptional Outdoor Spaces?
We are a leading, high‑end design studio specialising in creating bespoke, luxury landscape and pool environments for Melbourne's most discerning residential clients. We don't just build backyards; we craft architectural outdoor sanctuaries.
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and highly organised Landscape Design Manager to lead our design team, manage projects from concept through to construction documentation, and maintain our reputation for unparalleled quality.
The Role:
This is a senior leadership position where your expertise will shape our final product and mentor our talented team. You will be the crucial link between concept ideation, client engagement, and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead the conceptual and detailed design process for highvalue residential projects, focusing on innovative pool, structural, and planting design.
Team & Project Management: Oversee the Design Team, managing workloads, project timelines, and quality control from initial client brief through to final construction documentation.
Technical Excellence: Ensure all documentation (2D plans, 3D renderings, and specifications) meets the highest standards of accuracy, buildability, and regulatory compliance.
The ability to interpret and record onsite information (laser levels, site measuring and documentation, understanding of basic site information documents)
Client Management: Serve as the primary design point of contact for clients, architects, and builders, translating complex design concepts into clear, professional communication.
Studio Development: Contribute to the studio’s design philosophy, systems, and career development.
What You Bring:
Qualifications: A Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design (essential).
Experience: 5+ years of post‑graduate experience, with a proven track record managing high‑end, complex residential projects, ideally including integrated pool design.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in industry‑standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3D modelling programs).
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, time management, and presentation skills. You must be equally comfortable leading a critique session as you are presenting to an executive client.
Melbourne Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of local climate, planting palettes, materials sourcing, and relevant Victorian planning/building regulations.
What We Offer:
The opportunity to work on Melbourne’s most aspirational and complex residential projects.
A collaborative, creative, and professional studio culture.
A highly competitive salary package reflective of your senior experience and contribution.
