Our mission is simple: to make energy efficiency easy, accessible, and reliable for every Australian home and business. Due to our rapid expansion across NSW and interstate, we are looking for a dynamic Solar & Subcontractor Manager to join our growing leadership team.

Position Overview

As we scale, the Solar & Subcontractor Manager plays a critical role in expanding, managing, and supporting E-Green's network of subcontractors—including electricians, HVAC installers, plumbers, and solar technicians.

This is a high-impact role focused on ensuring our contractor network is onboarded, compliant, and performing to E-Green's premium operational standards. You will spend time both in the office and on the road, visiting job sites to maintain strong face-to-face relationships across our regions.

This position is ideal for:

* A project management professional experienced in coordinating field teams and compliance.
* A proactive leader who balances administration and field operations with ease.
What You'll Do
* Network Expansion: Recruit, onboard, and manage subcontractors across NSW and beyond.
* Compliance & Quality: Maintain contractor compliance and conduct regular site quality checks.
* Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our field partners to ensure high retention and performance.
* Operational Oversight: Review contractor rates/scopes and coordinate materials with our warehouse and procurement teams.
* System Management: Track performance and quality metrics using company CRM systems.
Key Skills & Attributes
* Trade Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or solar trades.
* Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Tech Savvy: Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows via CRM and project tools. Advanced digital literacy is a non-negotiable requirement.
* Organised: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and contractors simultaneously.
* Mobile: A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel regionally and interstate.
Qualifications & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in contract management, trade coordination, or field service operations.
* Trade-Qualified Professional: A current trade qualification is essential (Electrician, Plumber, or Refrigeration Mechanic). While an Electrical background is highly preferred, any astute tradesperson with management potential will be considered.
