AEH Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that will suit a detail-oriented, motivated individual who thrives on accuracy and teamwork.

You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and CFO, supporting daily, monthly, and annual finance functions across multiple business units, with exposure to end-to-end accounting and reporting responsibilities.

Based in the Central West of NSW, the location is flexible for the right candidate, making this a great chance for someone who’s ready to contribute their skills while enjoying a supportive and forward-thinking workplace.

The Opportunity:

- Assist with debtor and creditor management, including reconciliations, invoice processing, and payment runs.

- Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare EFT payment batches.

- Support payroll processing, superannuation, and payroll tax compliance.

- Assist with floorplan/bailment reconciliations and factory bonus claims.

- Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations

- Assist with BAS, IAS, FBT, and workers comp compliance.

- Provide audit support, external reporting packs, and reconciliations for year-end.

- Respond to ad hoc requests from Finance Manager, CFO, GMs, and auditors.

About You:

- Min TAFE qualification in Accounting, Finance

- 5+ years’ experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Accountant role

- Strong understanding of reconciliations, journals, and basic financial reporting.

- Know their debits from a credit

- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments.
