About the role
The purpose of this role is to assist Food Services to meet organisational goals through the co-ordination and provision of quality training and development. This role will support staff compliance with policy, procedures, and guidelines by monitoring of staff competency and identification of training needs.
About you
- Ability to work autonomously by achieving set outcomes in training and competency assessment.
- Knowledge and experience working in Food Services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Understanding of or an ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, food safety standards, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment chance and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour as applied in the working environment.
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality, privacy and abide by the Code of Conduct at all times
- Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal and electronic mediums.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
