Job Duties:
1. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, with special attention to the correct handling of raw proteins such as beef, pork, eggs, chicken, and fish.
2. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
3. Verify that prepared food meets safety, quality, and quantity requirements.
4. Cook and package batches of food including eggs, sausages, bacon, hamburgers, chicken, fish, french fries, and onion rings.
5. Prepare foods following specific methods that typically require short preparation times.
6. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and deep-fat fryers.
7. Read food order monitors or receive verbal instructions to prepare and cook food according to guest requirements.
8. Measure ingredients required for specific food items.
9. Clean, stock, and restock workstations.
10. Cook the exact number of items ordered by customers, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
11. Wash, cut, and prepare foods for cooking or final assembly.
12. Coordinate activities and equipment use with managers, based on daily volume to optimize cooking times.
13. Receive and manage delivery of supplies.
14. Train and mentor junior team members.
