Your Role
As a Dementia Advisor you'll be supporting the most important people in our organisation - our clients.
Your tasks will include:
3. Providing person centered dementia advice to people living with dementia at home and their carers
4. Providing a high level of assessment, behavioural analysis, goal planning and enabling strategies verbally and in written reports
5. Care co-ordination and referrals to local support services
6. Evaluating the effects of support provided through planned reviews
7. Contributing to service planning, management and reporting tasks
8. Marketing and networking with community groups and individuals
9. Delivering dementia education packages to the community and service provider.

Role Requirements
21. Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
22. Current Police Screening Certificate
23. Current Queensland driver's licence
24. Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a health related field
25. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards this qualification
26. Demonstrated experience in the delivery and management of community-based dementia services and care
27. Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
