Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to support the mental health and well-being of Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families. As an Occupational Therapist with our organisation, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment, therapy, management, and family support to help prevent and manage mental health challenges.
The role involves working in town and visiting remote communities to provide evidence-informed assessment and therapeutic services within a continuous quality systems enhancement framework. This program aims to ensure all Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families in Central Australia have access to these essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualised occupational therapy services to children and their families
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
* Conduct assessments and develop strategies to promote mental health and well-being
* Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders
