Job Summary:
Serving as an Assistant Manager at McDonald's Canada, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving smooth restaurant operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering the growth of crew members. You will collaborate with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team, and drive key business results, including guest experience, profitability, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
1. Support recruiting, training, and developing crew and shift managers.
2. Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment.
3. Lead by example, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
1. Ensure top-tier customer service by coaching and supporting team members.
2. Address and resolve guest concerns effectively.
3. Monitor speed of service and maintain restaurant cleanliness standards.
Operations & Business Performance
1. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste control.
2. Evaluate and ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
3. Analyze key business metrics (sales, labor, costs) to optimize operational efficiency.
Cash & Asset Management
1. Support daily cash handling, deposits, and financial reporting.
2. Maintain security protocols to prevent loss and ensure regulatory compliance.
