Specialising in the delivery of design-focused fitout, refurbishment, redevelopment, and new build projects, their national portfolio includes commercial workplace, hotels/pubs & clubs, universities, specialist medical, retail centres, health/leisure, apartments, and industrial projects.
This group's QLD business has successfully delivered repeat work on behalf of institutional clients including ALH, Shayher Group, Ramsay Health, Dexus, Aus Venue Co, Vicinity Centres, GPT, Stockland, and Iris Capital.
The Role:As Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of your own minor works projects, while also having the opportunity to assist with the delivery of larger projects. In doing so, you will be engaged throughout the Preconstruction, Design, and Project Planning phases, ensuring each client's specific requirements are understood and translated during the delivery of projects.
This will include developing scopes of work, programmes, and methodologies, then taking projects from procurement through to delivery (with on-site SM), acting as point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
This position will come with a directly progression pathway into a Project Management role, with Senior Leadership providing professional mentorship programs inline with your short-term and long-term preferences.
Reporting to: Construction Manager / Senior Project Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Construction, Architecture, Design, or Project Management.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a CA, PC, or PE capacity assisting with the delivery of commercial fitout/refurbishment/construction projects valued up to 3mil- D&C experience is preferable (or similar).
* Strong understanding of the associated design/D&C, fitout, refurbishment methodologies in live environments, as well as commercial contract management and procurement functions.
