As a Portfolio Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful operation of multiple early childhood services. Your leadership will drive compliance, quality education, and a positive workplace culture. You will support Area Managers and Centre Directors while mentoring educators to deliver best-practice learning experiences.
Your portfolio of services will be across our Little Zak's Academy centres on the South Coast – Corrimal, Wongawilli, Shellharbour, Kiama, and Bomaderry.
About the role:
* Provide leadership and operational support across multiple early childhood services.
* Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and all regulatory requirements.
* Support and mentor educators and leadership teams to achieve high-quality learning outcomes.
* Oversee service performance, including financial and administrative aspects.
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in early childhood education.
* Act as Nominated Supervisor when required.
About you:
* A Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACEQA approved).
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nominated Supervisor or 5 years in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
* Strong knowledge of early childhood regulations, WHS legislation, and compliance requirements .
* Proven ability in team leadership, curriculum development, and service operations .
* Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial viability.
* Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training .
* A valid Working with Children Check and Child Protection Training .
