As a Head Chef with Sodexo, you will play a critical role in providing leadership, direction, and operational excellence across your site. You will:
* Manage and mentor kitchen teams while maintaining a customer‐focused, safe, and welcoming environment
* Balance hands‐on Chef duties with planning, administration, and stakeholder engagement
* Drive team performance and uphold Sodexo's high food safety and quality standards
* Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures
This is a role for someone who enjoys accountability, variety, and the chance to influence both people and food outcomes.
You are a confident leader who thrives in high‐volume, fast‐paced environments. You handle pressure with ease and bring a passion for excellence. You will also bring:
* Trade Certificate – Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery
* Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Full Working Rights
* Experience in a similar leadership role (highly desirable)
* Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
* Solid background in large‐scale kitchen operations, ideally within the resources sector
* Flexibility and resilience to work an 8:6 FIFO roster
* A positive, can‐do attitude and commitment to team culture
