This is an excellent opportunity to gain full-time, paid work experience while working towards a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
As a trainee, you'll be exposed to a variety of tasks across workplace health and safety and injury management, gaining valuable hands-on experience through both on-the-job learning and formal training.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need: A willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude Sound written and verbal communication skills Teamwork skills and the capacity to work in a hands-on role that includes outdoor tasks Basic computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) The ability to complete a Nationally Recognised Qualification (Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety) within 24 months Commitment to undertaking the requirements of the associated qualification A minimum Queensland C Class provisional driver's licence (or eligibility and willingness to obtain one within 6 months of commencement) Why work for Central Highlands Regional Council?
