CommBank's Business Banking Operations (BBO) team is looking for a Team Lead to join and lead our Commercial Loan Verifications team which operates within CommBank's Chief Operations Office.
BBO is responsible for the fulfilment, settlement and servicing of Commercial Lending products including Business Lending, Merchant Facilities, Bank Guarantees, CommBiz and Audit Certificates for CBA.
We support our Business Banking colleagues and all other segments in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of customers including small businesses, franchises and large-scale corporate customers.The Role.
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Commercial Verifications team.
Our Verification and Validations team are responsible for supporting our internal teams and customers to adhere to and reduce our time to funding.
This includes leading the post client documentation process including verification and validation of documentation, along with sending clear and comprehensive instructions to our funding and settlement Team.As the Team Leader, you will possess demonstrated experience managing operational teams, driving performance and operational measures of success, whilst maintaining a strong culture and resource level across your teams.Please note that this is a 12-month Max Term opportunity (or secondment for our internal team members).
Your responsibilitiesLeading a team to drive customer outcomes that are right first time and within the agreed timeframesLeading the day to day running of the team by monitoring and analysing team performance and workflows, utilising standardised systems and reportingIdentifying, driving and delivering continuous improvement and efficiency enhancements to create experiences our customers loveBuilding internal and external relationships through the use of superior stakeholder management techniques and customer service skillsPlanning and executing risk mitigating procedures and reporting and discussing the results of your risk managementUse the Group's people management systems and policies to effectively manage people and complete all required people management activities as directed by the Group or Line Manager.We\'re interested in hearing from people who have: Demonstrable leadership experience, preferably from an operations background, who can comfortably provide support, mentorship and development to their people to create a strong team environment.
