Job Responsibilities
- Source and acquire supplies and services needed for the company's operations.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers in the Resources industry.
- Regularly review supplier performance and ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
- Coordinate with team members and other departments for efficient procurement tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or similar field.
