Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to develop and lead procurement strategies for cost-effective, sustainable sourcing outcomes.
This role will involve negotiating high-value contracts with suppliers, establishing relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, and monitoring supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
The Role
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams and large-scale procurement projects. They will also have a sound understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
Responsibilities
* Negotiate high-value contracts with suppliers.
* Establish relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
* Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
* Manage risk, compliance, and ethical sourcing practices.
* Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team.
* Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Provide strategic direction for major procurement projects.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in supply chain, procurement, or related field.
* Strong understanding of ESG sustainability and ethical sourcing.
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and large-scale procurement projects.
* Sound knowledge of procurement systems and category management tools.
* Eight plus years of procurement experience, including three to five years in a senior management role.
