We are seeking a Senior Edit Assistant to join our post-production team. This is a key technical role supporting editors and ensuring a smooth workflow from ingest through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide junior team members.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain edit timelines and systems for editors, including file structures, naming conventions, sound syncing, footage logging, stringouts, and selects timelines.
* Consolidate edit assets for turnover to post-production finishing, including initial re-conform to raw, sound asset collection, and VFX briefing.
* Archive project files and media.
* Provide guidance and oversee junior edit assistants.
Skills and Experience
* 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar technical role.
* Strong technical understanding of file formats, codecs, and editorial assets such as AFFs, EDLs, and XMLs.
* In-depth knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with editors, producers, and post teams.
